A Lookback on the Best of Fall Rafting

This past whitewater season has been beyond epic for all of those who made it onto the rivers. With the late spring Colorado experienced this year we had unbelievably high water levels to begin the season. This gave experienced rafters new challenges on some of their go-to sections while also upper c familyproviding newcomers and less experienced rafters an awesome first experience while out on the water. The high flows carried the whitewater season into fall with ease, allowing many rivers to stay open past their typical close dates. Taking a look back on the best of fall rafting, our Upper Colorado Scenic Float and Gore Canyon trips gave our guests an excellent end to the warm season.

Our Upper Colorado Scenic Float trip offered an excellent family experience all the way through October. Our scenic float was offered in a half day excursion and gave ages two to ninety-two a true whitewater experience while also providing you with 360° views of Colorado’s stunning beauty. You are able to experience the class II upper Colorado section on either a raft, SUPs (stand-up paddle boards,) or duckies (inflatable kayaks.) Our Gore Canyon trips offered some class V rafters a truly adrenaline packed day by Man on stand up paddle boardrafting Colorado’s most difficult commercial stretch of whitewater. This full day class V trip is sure to leave you absolutely drenched after a 12 foot vertical waterfall named Tunnel Falls. This trip will leave your heart pounding as you drop through world famous rapids such as Kirschbaum’s, Applesauce, and Gore Rapid.

Although you may have missed out on the 2015 whitewater season, it’s never too early to start planning for your 2016 whitewater vacation.
